Think about tomorrow today: company pension plans
Carmeq offers you a company pension scheme that matches that of Volkswagen. You can benefit from three modules: the employer-funded shares of the company pension (basic pension and additional pension contributions I) can be raised by a self-funded share (additional pension contributions II).
Pay less for your car: group-wide vehicle leasing
As a Carmeq employee, you can benefit from the same leasing conditions as a Volkswagen employee, with monthly rates starting at 1.0 percent of the recommended retail price.
Choose your own hours: you decide when you work
Being able to balance work and a private life is important for many Carmeq employees. So you are free to choose your own working hours within a set timeframe.
You also have the option to record any necessary additional work as overtime and either take these hours as additional leave or be paid for them.
take-a-break@carmeq: planned time out
Carmeq gives you the opportunity to take a sabbatical of up to six months. This time off is comprised of holiday, worked overtime and unpaid leave.
In an emergency: 13 weeks of sick pay
Carmeq offers all employees who have passed their probation period continued payment of their full salary for up to 13 weeks if they fall ill, far more than the statutory six weeks (section 3 para. 1 Continued Remuneration Law).
Good advice: free, external assistance for you and your family
Our employees’ health and wellbeing is very important to us. So if you are struggling with any manner of stressful situation, you can seek professional support from an external advice service. The Fürstenberg Institut’s entire range of services is available free of charge to all of our employees, their relatives and partners, with all discussions remaining strictly confidential between you and your adviser. Any work-related situations you discuss will not be disclosed to us.
When the unexpected happens: accident insurance
Carmeq takes out an accident insurance policy with HDI Global SE for each of its employees. The coverage amounts to €30,000 in the event of death and €60,000 in the event of incapacity. It covers accidents both in and out of work and comes into effect as soon as you complete your probation period.
